Denver Office Furniture Company Sponsors 2014 Crystal Awards

The design profession is dominated by one desire: the achievement of design perfection. This is why, each year, countless design industry organizations strive to award the best designers in the field and stimulate the drive to always put innovativeness and creativity on the forefront of the profession. As a provider of high quality office furniture to Denver businesses, Pear Workplace Solutions understands the importance of recognizing the best in the interior design industry. In line with this, our company, along with our manufacturer partner, Haworth, agreed to sponsor the ASID Crystal Awards this year.
An initiative of the Colorado chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, the Crystal Awards is the organization’s preeminent annual award event for identifying and recognizing the state’s best interior designers. The competition pits project submissions provided by the more than 500 local ASID members against each other to determine the most outstanding work produced in a variety of categories.
Each project is entered under the most appropriate category, either in the commercial or residential division. Commercial projects fall into one or more of the following categories: Under 20,000 Square Feet; Over 20,000 Square Feet; Hospitality; Healthcare; Institutional; Single Space, Dedicated Function; or Custom Designed Element. On the other hand, residential projects are grouped into following categories: Residence under 4,000 Square Feet; Residence over 4,000 Square Feet; Kitchen; Bath; Temporary Installation; Single Space, Dedicated Function; or Custom Designed Element.
This year, the awarding ceremony for the Crystal Awards was held at Denver’s Seawell Grand Ballroom and kicked off at 6 o’clock in the evening on July 10th. As with previous awards, attendees were treated to a formal sit down dinner that accompanied the proceedings. Organizers also put on a fun pre-party event for VIP guests, a first for the Crystal Awards, with live entertainment, appetizers, signature drinks, and the opportunity to meet and mingle with several top and up-and-coming designers.
